You can delete your account yourself, at any time, and it happens at once. Deleting can't be undone.
In the game (instant)
- Log in, and leave any battle you are in (you can't delete your account during a battle).
- Press F1 (Options) and scroll down to Account.
- Click Delete account, type DELETE and your password, then click Delete my account.
The game says "Account deleted", and a confirmation goes to your email address. Haven't created a commander yet? The same link, Delete account, is at the bottom of the commander screen.
Want to keep a copy first? Options → Account → Download my data saves everything stored about your account as a file.
Can't log in?
- Forgot your password: click "Forgot password?" on the login page, choose a new one, then delete the account as above.
- No longer have the email address, or something else is in the way: write to support@raraforge.com with the subject "Fractured Front account deletion", your commander name and the email address of the account. If you can, write from that address: otherwise I may ask a question only the owner can answer, so nobody can delete someone else's account. I reply within one month.
What is deleted
- Your email address, your password hash, your sign-in sessions and any links I sent you that weren't used yet.
- Your commander, with all units, equipment, credits, Fractium, boosts, medals, statistics and settings.
- Your place in your regiment (if you led it, the next in rank takes over), your office (a Marshal's office becomes free), your candidacy and votes in an election, and your recent chat lines.
- Your name and units in the war's battle results.
Fractium and anything else in the game are not refunded.
What stays, and for how long
- The results of battles you fought in stay in the war history, without your name or units.
- Map markers you drew as Marshal or Council member stay on the map until they are replaced, without your name.
- The daily backups of the game database hold your data for up to 30 days, then they are deleted.
- The server log keeps events such as "a new commander" for 14 days.
Was gelöscht wird
